Katherine Ann Kent is admitted to practice law in Washington and US District Court. She has been named a “Rising Star” lawyer in Washington Law and Politics Magazine in 2005, 2006 and 2010. She has been at the firm since 2002. Katherine Ann Kent grew up in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. She completed her undergraduate degree in Speech Communications in 1990 from the University of Washington. Katherine worked as a social worker for Child Protective Services for over 10 years. She attended Seattle University School of Law at night while working for Child Protective Services. She graduated with her law degree in 1999. Katherine was admitted to the bar in 2000. She practiced Bankruptcy and Collection from 2000 – 2002 and then returned to family law. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Washington, School of Social Work regarding social work practice and Child Protective Services. She has been a presenter at the Family Law Section Meeting for the King County Bar Association regarding Child Protective Services. She has been a presenter at the University of Washington, School of Law, Court Improvement Training Academy, regarding Domestic Relations. When she is not working, Katherine enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family. |
