Kelly earned her Associate of Arts in advanced paralegal studies from Edmonds Community College in 2000. Her work has been focused on family law cases in Snohomish and King Counties.

She is a licensed Legal Assistant with the Washington State Bar Association which gives her the ability to enter specific orders before the Judges. This allows the attorneys to devote more of their professional time to substantive issues and is cost effective for the client.

She is a licensed Notary Public for the State of Washington. She has been a Volunteer Guardian ad Litem in the juvenile dependency arena for seven years.

In her spare time, she participates in several triathlons and running events each year and enjoys attending concerts, fairs and festivals.
